We will us MZ Chinese as our word study textbook this year. In this sequence lessons incorporate terms, objects and topics familiar to students who grow up in North America.  Students will  learn about the pictorial graphic origin of Chinese characters and Chinese culture covering the likes of Spring Festival and the twelve zodiac signs.  

 

今年我们会用《美洲华语》来作为中文学习的教科书。二年级课程，是以美洲地区小学二年级学生各项学科的知识水平和对生活的体验，用“象形字的由来”一文来介绍中国文字。课程中并加入绕口令、谜语和年的故事，进一步教导学生认识中国文化，如春节、十二生肖和中国毛笔的典故暨由来。
