Launching Writer's Workshop

We spent the entire month launching Writer's Workshop. Tigers and dragons have planned their writing by drawing heart map. They then started their drafts in terms of the person they love, the place with alot of fun, and a small moment they enjoy. In the next week, we are going to revise one of these three drafts into a story, a letter or a poem. After editing , we will publish our work to end up the first writing unit.

我们花了整整一个月启动我们的阅读课。龙班和虎班的小朋友通过画“我的心”来计划他们的文章。他们写了三篇草稿，分别关于我爱的人，好玩的地方和他们喜欢的一件小事。下周我们会把其中一篇草稿修改成一个故事或者是一首诗或者是一封信。经过编辑后，我们会发表我们的作品来结束这一单元。

In this unit, students are expected to have a basic idea of five stages of Writer's workshop, which ara planning, drafting, revsing, editing and publish. They have also learned some important sentence structures that are: I can...; I have...; I like...; I see...; I hear...Also, they have grasped five sequence words: first, next, then, after that and at last. In addition, they are expected to understand that a good writer can write across genres.

在这个单元里，学生对写作课的五个阶段有了基本的了解。这五个阶段分别是计划、草稿、修改、编辑和发表。他们也学会了一些重要的句子结构，包括“我会...；我有...；我喜欢...;我看到...；我听到...”。他们还学会了用首先、然后、接着、再来、最后这些顺序词。此外，他们还学会了进行不同文学类型的写作。
